Oh, Si, I thought this was very lovely. I wasn't sure what to expect (Harry Potter = not my thing in so many ways, fanfiction-wise) but this was achingly mature and wonderful. Like you've stripped off all the Mary-Sue from Ginny (and Rowling put lots there!) and given her a real personality that I can believe Harry and Luna as being attracted to. And I, too, think that the war would've changed these kids in subtle but powerful ways, like making Luna more obviously aware of the world around her and its horribleness, and making Ginny less brave, because bravery didn't reward her all that much. So: very lovely. :)
