It's rather strange, Pansy is such a horrible character, and yet I ship her with pretty much everyone, especially Hermione. Ginny/Pansy, though, is a particularly fab combination, and is also the main pairing in THE BEST HARRY POTTER FANFIC EVER WRITTEN, AKA Matching-Muff Matrimony (http://eloiselovelace.livejournal.com/9201.html) by eloiselovelace. Seriously, if you've never read it, don't even think about putting it off for another day, you need it in your life NAO :D. It's got everything: it's hilarious and snarky and beautifully written and scorchingly hot, as well as having a surprisingly sweet and romantic centre. It's everything I could want in a story really. I LOVE it :)
I've not written anything else with Pansy in it, partly because I've not written very much at all, but mostly because Ginny and Luna own my heart to a ridiculous degree. I'm currently rather stalled on the fourth part of an ongoing Ginny/Luna series that you might like, if you like them as a ship. The series as a whole is called Giving up these kisses (http://prunesquallormd.livejournal.com/tag/series:giving%20up%20these%20kisses), and is shamelessy romantic, rather angsty fluff, apart from part three, which is shamelessly romantic rather angsty porn :D. Parts 1 and 2 are unbetaed, and were my first attempts at fanfic, so they have pretty major flaws, I think, but I'm sort of fond of them (which, again, has everything to do with Ginny and Luna completely owning my heart, so).
and also I have this thing about having to explain how these people found themselves having sex in the first place Oh, I'm so with you on that. Sometimes I'd like to be able to just write a "well, there were these two/three/four guys/girls/whatever, and they had sex, and it was awesome". Some people can write that and make it work, but I just can't. Oh well, there are bigger failings :)
LJ seems to have at least partly listened to the thousands of complaints about their FB/Twitter crossposting idea, in that they're disabling it on locked posts, but they really don't seem to get that, especially in fandom, there's a lot you want to keep public but you really, really don't want your family, employer, or certain of your friends ever seeing. It's both worrying and extremely annoying :(
