I like Skins best when it makes me cry.
It mostly succeeded in doing that tonight, so it gets a thumbs up from me, I think.

Probably not the tonic you were needing, I'm afraid.
I liked it far more than I thought I would, though. Sweet and romantic is good, but so is dark and bleak and intense, and Skins does do that fairly well too (I refer you to the whole of season 2, which was a serious headfuck, but actually, in retrospect, pretty fucking good).
I hope you're not too weepy, though. *hugs*

Anyway, cheers and I'll write you a longer screed this weekend.

I'm not sure what people were expecting. It was more or less bound to happen. I can't think of a single couple in Skins where there hasn't been infidelity of one kind or another.
I liked it a lot, though, but then, I like getting my heart broken.
(You're not horrible. You just know what's SRS BSNS and what's not. And really, this isn't serious business. I love it, and I love it more when it breaks me, but it's not that important).
I'll look forward to hearing from you :)

This. I was expecting it ever since we saw crying Naomi and Emily on a ledge...because what else could've happened? It's also just horribly in character for Naomi, really. She WOULD do anything. And it seems like she'll continue that trend next week. Emily should run while she still has a shred of dignity!
Oh, but I love my Fitches. This episode was so much better than last week's.

I really felt for Rob here. He was far less the one-note caricature of last season and came across as a decent person trying to do the best for his family.
And Katie ♥ Adorable. But yep, she definitely needs to ditch goblin boy. Effy's waiting :)

This ep >>>>>>>>>> last week's. The more I think about it more I enjoyed it. And every single one of the Fitches was fabulous :)
