Happy Equinox :)
Well, it's officially autumn (or spring, if you're in Australia. Hi Jack :) ) .
How the hell did that happen? Wasn't it only just Christmas? Does that mean I have to have to deal with my family soon? Ugh Christmas :(
On a more positive note though, I lovelovelove autumn. Perfect weather, pretty colours, always an excuse to snuggle up indoors and read/write/watch TV. So yay :)
Oh, and talking of books, I'm now one chapter away from the end of A Game of Thrones. Weehee:). And, according to my rather naked page on Goodreads, it's only taken me since the 15th August. Which, rather tragically, is fast for me. What can I say, I've always been a slow reader :/
So yeah, I got to the end of the penultimate chapter and thought "I'm now officially past all of the bits that I was spoiled on" (which was a lot, including 3 major deaths, one betrayal, and the odd additional crowning or two. Except, then I remembered that picture. You know, the one from the very last scene. D'oh.
I suppose, as long as I read book 2 before season 2 shows I should manage to avoid that rather unfortunate state of affairs happening again.
By the way, I can't be the only person who heard the story about the faster than light particles and thought "Hyperdrive, here we come!" It totally follows, right?
Or maybe this is relevant ? :D
After over 4 rather agonising months, I've finally finished something! (Well, a chapter of something, but whatevs), Sheesh. Me so slow. Now I just have to see if my beta (*cough*Anna, you free?*cough*) actually thinks it's not a complete waste of ink/pixels/bytes/whatever, which I'm really not convinced of. Hey ho.
It turns out that I have nothing interesting to say! Here have a very pretty autumnal picture that I stole from Tumblr/flickr (http://www.flickr.com/photos/29609591@N08/4081865483/)

Have a lovely Equinox, all ♥
ETA Well apparently I'd had too much gin last night to remember the difference between an equinox and a solstice. Whoops. How embarrassing.
