Creature comforts
Nov. 10th, 2006 05:11 pmAfter a week and a half of wandering round the house in a big jumper and two pairs of socks, and boiling water to wash in, my boiler is finally fixed. Weehee. Nice long bath tonight, with bubbles and candles. Bliss.
Still no broadband, nowhere near enough bookshelves and I've yet to find out whether the car that died on me on Monday (and I've only had it for 3 months) will be worth fixing, or whether I may as well just scrap it and get a new one.
But I don't care. I have hot water. My life is complete :)
And now I have to run for the train, so have a good weekend all.
