I think it's becoming kind of funny how we're turning each other into different pairings and onto different little obstacle paths. I had never considered these two as a pairing either before I read One (admittedly complicated) Week and it really gives me a surge of warmth to know that one of my little drabbles had turned you over. (Of course it isn't cheating; I divide them up, really, by fandom and by... well, category? Femslash OTP: Ginny/Luna. Het OTP: Harry/Ginny. Skins OTP: Naomily. See how that works in my head?) And that timeline... it's probably one of my favourites for this pairing exclusively, because Luna is still Luna without the social nonacceptance and that's all the more reason to make her beautiful. (And I'll be looking forward to that :))

I'm very much into "reading between the lines" so that's why it really did me in, with Luna being the moon and Ginny being the sun. I love everything about it, really, so I'm especially happy that you didn't cut it or trim it or surgically remove it. It was perfect. :)
I think the ending worked wonderfully, but you could always write some kind of, oh, I don't know, follow-up fic? ;) The timeline was clear, with Harry, Ron & Hermione being gone. That was pretty much set in stone at the beginning when they were at the forest together; it's pretty obvious as to what they're talking about. So yes, that would be their 6th year. Isn't such an amazing thing to have to write to? Ginny being torn between them. Both Luna and Harry having that respect of her choices (or that's what I like to think ;)) And haven't we all had to end on down beats? (Rather ironic, actually, considering downbeat is a musical term. Hardy har har. I'm such a dork)
