Yes, I think that any good author, or creator of some kind, is as good as their characters. So, if you can see something in a character that you love and can expand on then I think that's fantastic. It's why we love Skins so much - the characters are compelling and we can't get enough of them so we expand upon them.
HP characters are brilliant - I loved the books, way more than the films, because we get to know them a lot more. I just wish I knew more about them!
(Darling - if you write Katie/Naomi anywhere as well as you write these girls you have nothing to worry about and I'm thoroughly looking forward to reading the way you write them <3)
