I'm actually just rereading the first HP book for the first since 1998 or so (partly as 'research' for a Hermione/Pansy story that I have in mind). Even having seen the film so many times now, it's still a lot of fun.
(I'm hoping to rewatch the first 3 seasons of Skins before 4 comes on, although I'm not sure if I'll manage it. My love for S3 rather eclipsed the first 2, but rewatching reminds how fabulous the Gen1 characters were. I'll never love them as much as gen2 but they were in many ways just as good or better).
