Is it bad that I'm incredibly happy that this both owned you heart and melted your panties? I find smut incredibly nerve wracking to write, to be honest, and it's very important to me that what I write is actually emotionally engaging and not just filthy. Flis described this as being 'all heart-achey and porny', and if it succeeds in being both of those things for you, it's done its job.

I wanted it to be about love and affection and desire first, and only then about sex. Someone once described of my favourite PWPs as 'loving smut'.
