See, while I can see how who The Adversary was meant to be would have been freaking amazing, the copyright that got in the way is the most serendipitous thing that ever happened (as even Bill Willingham and sundry of the other writers have admitted).
(you find out who The Adversary actually is in Homelands, the sixth collection, but one of the things that has me so in love with Fables is that we're about to get collection fifteen and the overall arc is still going very, very strong, whereas the Big reveal could have easily petered out into a Reveal-and-End)
Snow and Bigby are two of my faaaavourites, although my many ~feelings~ about Fables are directly related to just how well ALL of the characters are done \o/ (my favourite minor character is Clara, who you're going to be meeting if you're picking up Animal Farm tomorrow :D)
