I really didn't like Violin. Most of them follow on from eachother, I think it's best to read the witch books in order and the vampire books in order but as you liked The Witching Hour, I'd suggest reading that and then the other witch books in order or they don't make sense!!
I didn't feel you were harsh cos it can be very disappointing to like 2 books and dislike the 3rd.
