A country mouse in the Smoke

I'm rather more jetlagged that lareinemisere was today. It's fortunate that I had the day off, because I've been in a semi-concious daze. I meant to post properly earlier, but a phone call from Tom (who's just spent the last two and a half years in South Africa, so it was lovely to hear from him) put paid to that.
So I'll just say I had a wonderful weekend with corone and lareinemisere. Again, thanks guys.
More will probably follow on this. Meanwhile, see lareinemisere's journal for more details (not very useful if you *are* lareinemisere, I realise. Sorry ;) ). Suffice to say, fun and lovely company made up most of my weekend. Life is pretty good right now.
