Twas sunny Wales this weekend, to visit Tom and Rebecca (complete with 1 year old sproglet).
Very pleasant, even though it did contain rather more outdoors-ness than I've been used to lately. And somebody please save me from the obsession of new parents with their children.. (No, they're not cute. They're nasty little homunculi. Any feelings of protectiveness you may have towards them are a survival from a time way back in the mists when, if times got particularly hard, you might have started to think that baby spit-roast was a good idea. Which is to say: cute things are only cute so you're less tempted to eat them (although it doesn't seem to be working for all those little lambses ...)).
I'm very glad it's a short week, cos I'm utterly exhausted.
