Had an overnight last night, so I was awake for something over 25 hours before getting to bed at half 7 in the morning and getting about 5 hours sleep. Tiiiiirrred.
It was Liverpool's second annual Gay Pride festival today, which I would have loved to check out, but I was way too knackered to even consider it :/
So now I'm spending a nice lazy evening finally embarking on season 3 of BSG. Yay, stress! XD
I really don't have the energy to update properly, but I haven't posted since the Big Hack so this is just a 'hi' and a quick posting of links for a couple of things I've had open in tabs for a while. I'm not sure anyone will be interested but me, but this is a good place to keep a record of stuff, so.
This is one of my favourite Cruxshadows songs, although in all the times I've seen them live, they've never played it :(.
On the vid: I've never seen the need for the scantily clad dancers in their shows, and the frontman (who, without irony, calls himself Rogue XD) can be kind of cringy (also, he can't really sing. Like, at all :/ ), but I still love them, and their live shows do have a lovely, inclusive and friendly atmosphere.
LOL Michael Buble. I AM NOT EMBARRASSED. Well, much :)
This is a wonderful cover and, for all that his original stuff is blandblandbland, he does have a fabulous voice and as an old style crooner he's rather perfect.
And this, especially, won't be of interest to anyone but the gamers here, but it might give the rest of you an idea of what a gaming session is actually like, and these guys are particularly entertaining. Also, one of them - Helen, who play Lynn the librarian in The Pale god, and Maddy Morrison in Masks of Nyarlathotep - has nicest voice <3. Yep, it's totally possible to crush on someone just cos of their voice :D .
So, these are just recordings of a couple of Call of Cthulhu games. This first one is a one session convention game, The Pale God. It's run by an American (who also has a really gorgeous speaking voice) with three English players. It only becomes apparent at the end of the recording that, while the players all knew each other, the GM is a stranger to them. Despite that, the group melds perfectly, and the session is funny, entertaining, spooky and horrifying in equal measure (pretty much classic Call of Cthulhu, then:

And this? Well, erm, do you have 60 odd hours to kill? Probably not, right? But, well, Masks of Nyarlathotep is a classic of its type, and an absolute nightmare to run (seriously. I own a copy and, as printed, it's really just a bunch of rough notes. The amount of preparation required to run it well is just frightening). It's just a really entertaining listen, if you're into that sort of thing XD

Well, that's all I have. I hope you're all doing fabulously!
