I've done something to my right hand. RSI or tendonitis or a trapped nerve or the fact that I dropped my phone and in trying to stop it falling into the bath it bashed my knuckles really hard. Either way, the knuckles are numb and if I move the hand too much the radial nerve in the wrist catches and causes a really icky twinge all the way too my middle finger. Ugh :/
So I'm supposed to take ibuprofen 3 times a day for a month (yay indigestions :() and use it as little as possible. So yeah, that means my online activity will be far more limited than I'm used to (which makes me sad) and posts, emails, comments, whatever are going to be greatly reduced. Boo :(
So, in lieu of an actual proper post: the Gamers film that I backed last year has had its online release. Yay :D
Not had a chance to watch yet, gonna do that now. For anyone who's interested though, here's a cut scene, filmed at GenCon last year (Andy P and Angus and probably are few others are there right now. I'm jealous. I really must go again soon). This probably sums up what a lot of us feel about Firefly XD:-
And here's the freely streamable film (Zombie Orpheus Entertainment have a whole fan funded, freely available model which is kinda nice, though do feel free to buy a copy if you like it :)).
I tried to embed it but the link doesn't work for me, so have this link:-
http://watchthegamers.com/
You can stream it for free or buy it for $10 if you want.
Or if that doesn't work for you, the backer-only site is:-
http://vimeo.com/zombieorpheus/review/72313320/82af4358d2
and the password is: aj39nevkl
(Don't tell them I sent you, I might get told off!).
The film before this, Dorkness Rising, is one of my fave things ever, so I have high hopes for this. Don't expect huge production values (they made it for less than half a million dollars, as far as I know) but if it's anything like Dorkness Rising, there'll be lots of gaming silliness and a great big heart, so.
Dorkness Rising is (again, freely and legitimately) available on Youtube, here:-
And here's the super low budget short that started it all :D
I hope at least some of you like them.
Loads of love and huggles <3
